Figure Out: Abstraction in Self-Taught Art featured works by approximately a dozen self-taught artists including Dan Miller, Eugene Andolsek, Hiroyuki Doi, Daniel Goncalves, and the Gee’s Bend Quiltmakers. These artists challenge the preconception that Outsider artists are solely working representationally as storytellers.
